Duncan Epping is VMware’s Senior Director and Chief Technologist in EMEA for the Cloud Infrastructure Business Group with a primary focus on hyper-converged infrastructure and disaster recovery. In that role, he serves as a partner and trusted adviser to VMware’s customers and partners. Main responsibilities are ensuring VMware’s cloud platform innovations align with essential customer needs and translating customer problems into opportunities. Duncan is a recognized leader in the technical community and considered one of the top 50 most influential leaders globally on the subject of Storage & Availability, Virtualization, and Cloud. He has 8 patents granted and 10+ patents pending on the topic of availability, storage, and resource management.
